Bagi pencinta gitar khususnya yang ingin mengikuti rangkaian kontes gitar di youtube mungkin saat ini bisa jadi peluang bagi anda. Awal bulan ini T.E.N effect mengadakan event yang berjudul T.E.N & Guitar Friends Contest. Seperti kebanyakan kontes gitar lain, kontes ini pun menjanjikan hadiah-hadiah yang menarik dan yang jadi jurinya pun termasuk orang-orang yang berkompeten di dunia gitaris seperti Martin Miller, Rick Graham, Laurie Monk, David MAxim dan David Walliman. Kontes ini sendiri akan berakhir tanggal 1 Agustus.
Mengenai backing tracknya sendiri, panitia memberikan materi yang bernuansa oriental/ timur tengah. Kalau saya pribadi mungkin konsep ini, bisa jadi konsep baru dan menjadi tantangan baru dalam mengeksporasi permainan gitar. Untuk lebih jelas dapat dilihat
